These two tall walnut boards have handles shaped like small branches, cut from the same plank so the grain flows from the board into the handle. They look striking leaning against a backsplash and are just as useful as they are decorative.
Use the wider board for slicing nut loaves and fruit, and the narrower one to serve raw crackers, sliced cucumbers and a spread of herbed cashew cheese. Both are finished with a food-grade oil and wax blend that brings out the chocolate tones of the walnut. They make a thoughtful housewarming gift.
