Sunlit Raspberry Banana Smoothie Bowl
4.8(194 ratings)This is the bowl to make when you have five minutes and a bag of frozen raspberries. A soft pear replaces some of the banana in the base, giving natural sweetness without overpowering the berries. Keep the toppings to crisp fresh banana rounds and a few whole raspberries so the tart flavour stays front and centre.

Method
-
Step 1: Blend the chopped pear and almond milk first until liquid, which provides just enough moisture to start the frozen fruit moving.
-
Step 2: Add the frozen raspberries and banana and blend on low, pushing down with the tamper, until thick and smooth.
-
Step 3: Spoon into a bowl, lay the banana rounds in an arc across the surface and dot with fresh raspberries.
-
Step 4: Eat right away while the bowl is still cold and firm, ideally at a sunny table or on a balcony.
