Four-Colour Smoothie Bowl Brunch Board
4.7(900 ratings)When friends come over, a row of four differently coloured bowls makes a striking centrepiece. The method is efficient: blend a neutral banana base once, then divide it and flavour each portion with a different fruit. Pink, orange, purple and green bowls get their own matching toppings so guests can pick a favourite.

Step 1: Stir the chia seeds into the water and leave for fifteen minutes to gel while you prepare the fruit.
-
Step 2: Blend the frozen bananas with the coconut milk into a very thick base, then divide it evenly among four small containers.
-
Step 3: Return one portion at a time to the blender with its flavouring: frozen apricots, frozen kiwi, strawberries, then blueberries, blending briefly after each.
-
Step 4: Fold the chia gel into the blueberry portion by hand so the seeds stay visible, then spoon each flavour into its own bowl.
-
Step 5: Top the strawberry bowl with coconut and sliced strawberries, the apricot bowl with apricot slices, the blueberry bowl with berries and the kiwi bowl with kiwi.
